Thanks to Tumblr I have discovered the moaning songstress with the wild curly hair and crooked pout all over my Dashboard. By the time Lorde was 16, she broke through the food chain of the music industry with guest appearances on talk shows, magazine articles and millions of views on youtube. With that song "Royals", that Teen Anthem that basically mopes about boring it is to be a teen and how you are restricted from doing anything with your life. I get it, we all go through that phase where we hate every one including the world, but now that she has this upcoming success, maybe she should come up with some new material because her complaining led to fame. Now she's flying first class with Karl Lagerfeld cat and partying with elite fashion kids and we get to do the same shit with our lives, scrolling down dashboards hopelessly wondering if we ever have a chance in life to make it big. Just a little food for thought.
